kybun Opinions
I walk up to 15 kilometres a day and it’s comfortable and enjoyable. These shoes are like training devices for me.

My husband has a pair of kybun shoes and I was quite jealous of him because they were so comfortable, particularly the footbed. I often wear kybun shoes. When I developed hip problems, I was only barely able to walk a few hundred metres to the supermarket. That all changed when I got these shoes. Now I can go walking again.

Walking in these shoes is so comfortable. It’s like walking on a cloud or soft moss.

I suffer from lymphoedema in my right leg and foot as well as back problems. Ever since I started wearing the kybun shoe, my back pain has reduced dramatically, and I’ve experienced fewer problems with my leg as well. I’ve noticed that walking has become more of an exercise, but without being uncomfortable. Quite the opposite, in fact: I feel like I’m walking on clouds. Mr Zeller provided excellent advice and support, and showed himself to be a true expert. He was able to provide many helpful tips for my specific problems, and I benefitted from his advice immensely. Getting to test out the shoes for a few days at the beginning was priceless, of course.

On October 1993 I did a forced landing near an air field at the northern part of Israel. On take off, and few minutes air born I've noticed a sudden engine cut, did a rapidly forced landing in a very bad field for landing, plenty of boulders and rocks. In these circumstances you can choose the right place - you take what you find. Fortunately the passenger didn't suffer any damage, but I broke badly my right ankle. It took me one year and a half of crutches and 3 orthopaedic operations to walk again. Until now I couldn't find suitable shoes though I tryed all possible firms and styles. I could walk, but always with pain and uncomfortable sensation. Two months ago a friend from Israel, and shoed me his shoes, which was of your production. I tried them and felt good. I use those shoes for about one month and a half now,and for the first time after the incident I can walk again without lame ,pain or inconvenience and for relatively long courses even up the hill side. So, in short ,I am very happy now with your shoes and will buy some others for the next winter.

Wearing the kybun shoe makes it feel a lot more natural to walk with a prosthetic. It’s gentler on my back, too. It’s especially easier for me to walk down stairs when I’m wearing the kybun shoe. Mr Zeller provided us with fantastic advice – he did an excellent job of answering all of my questions. I would definitely order these shoes again, anytime.

These shoes has given me totally new experience of walking. Every step is flexible no matter what surface I'm walking on. Comfort usability has worked as well in slush and icy streets as in -30 degrees. Shoes are not sweaty and I can keep my feet incredibly warm when shoes are used with thin wool sock. Absolutely fabulous shoes!

When I began to have severe foot pain due to a bunion (a bony bump that forms above the big toe joint), I considered having an operation. But I wanted to try out the kybin shoe first. This is how I came to visit the kybun specialty shop at 29 Bodanstrasse in Konstanz, Germany, at 3 pm on 6 February 2016. I was very sceptical, which meant that I asked a lot of questions. I was surprised to discover how friendly and knowledgeable the salesperson was. She was very patient, offered great advice and answered all of my questions to my satisfaction. A big compliment is due to this excellent salesperson! I decided to buy the Jindo Tobacco model for men (size 43 1/2) and kept the shoes on for my stroll through the city of Konstanz. The shoes immediately provided a new, more comfortable feeling – I was happy with how comfortable they were. We ended up almost missing the ferry back, and we would have if we hadn’t sprinted our way to the harbour. This is when it struck me that I could never have sprinted like that in my old, regular shoes – at least not without it being extremely painful. I was even happier to realise that I could run painlessly in these shoes. This was not possible before. Thanks to this new level of comfort, I have been able to walk around without the bunion causing me any pain. I also used to suffer from problems due to straining my ankle. These problems also went away very quickly. This shoe saved me from needing an operation. I can only recommend that anyone with similar problems should at least try out the wonderful kybun shoe first, before having an operation.

I have bunions on both feet that cause me a great deal of pain, and because of which I’ve had to wear insoles in my shoes for years. The pain came back, though, so I thought I’d try out this air-cushion shoe that I saw ads for. And look: Ever since I started wearing the kybun shoe, I can once again enjoy painless short hikes, and nearly painless longer ones. I also wear the shoe as often as possible during the day, since it tires out my feet less. Because of that, I can still wear ‘normal’ shoes every now and then if I’m going out – and that’s important for me as a woman. I’ve been wearing the kybun shoe for a number of years now.

I too discovered the awesome kybun shoes – after years of searching for good shoes. I found them through Mr Jürgen Zeller. In 2009 I underwent a knee disarticulation on my right leg. Since then, I’ve been doing lots of sports, and I have to say that the kybun shoe has been a real ASSET to my (Genium) prosthesis!
