Thomas Ammann, the St. Gallen Cantonal Representative and President of the commune of Rüthi, is running for the Swiss Council of States and the National Council.
He spends endless hours on his feet during the election campaign, takes part in panel discussions and speaks with citizens at street campaigns. Despite always being in the public eye, the family politician is always full of energy thanks to his special shoes. He walks on air-cushion soles, which keep him constantly moving. Tension has become a thing of the past. The innovative product was invented and developed by a Swiss SME, which was another reason the politician opted for these shoes: “I try to lead by example and support Swiss companies whenever I can.”
