Roland Diewald has suffered from diabetes and circulatory disturbances for 40 years. As a result, his toes, forefoot and lower legs have had to be amputated, bit by bit.

At first, the now 69-year-old German found it hard to walk in prostheses, but now they are part of his everyday life. Throughout the years, however, Roland Diewald has never found the right shoes. Recently, he discovered the kybun shoe, which offers him numerous advantages. “I don't stumble any more; I enjoy the agreeable, soft feeling as I walk and no longer have any hard blows on my knee stump to put up with”, grins Roland Diewald. The kybun shoe gives the prosthesis wearer a pleasant feeling and soothes his pain.
